  1.     Create Naming Service Override
  2.  
  3.     This window allows you to create a new set of overrides for a host/pool by
  4.     filling in the form as needed. 
  5.  
  6.     Fields
  7.  
  8.     This window contains the following fields:
  9.  
  10.     Host/pool name
  11.  
  12.     Use this field to specify which host or pool will use these
  13.     overrides.
  14.  
  15.     Password/Group Overrides
  16.  
  17.     You can use this toggle to set up the overrides for user accounts.
  18.     Use this if you want to use an alternate account naming services
  19.     rather than those determined by Enlighten for your host/pool. You
  20.     can use overrides from the following types of naming services:
  21.  
  22.     + None (the default; no overrides are used in this area)
  23.     + /etc/... files
  24.     + NIS
  25.     + NIS+
  26.  
  27.     Domain Name
  28.  
  29.     If you've selected the NIS or NIS+ option in the Password/Group
  30.     Overrides field, use this field to specify the Masterhost domain
  31.     name.

  33.     Masterhost
  34.  
  35.     If you've selected the NIS or NIS+ option in the Password/Group
  36.     Overrides field, use this field to specify the NIS server providing
  37.     the user account and user group services.

  39.     Password file
  40.  
  41.     If you've selected the NIS option in the Password/Group Overrides
  42.     field and you want to use a different password file (besides
  43.     /etc/passwd), use this field to specify that password file pathname.

  45.     Group file

  47.     If you've selected the NIS option in the Password/Group Overrides
  48.     field and you want to use a different group file (besides
  49.     /etc/group), use this field to specify that group file pathname.

  51.     Host Entries Overrides

  53.     You can use this toggle to set up the overrides for host entries.
  54.     Use this if you want to use an alternate host naming services rather
  55.     than those determined by Enlighten for your host/pool. You can use
  56.     overrides from the following types of naming services:

  58.     + None (the default; no overrides are used in this area)
  59.     + /etc/hosts files
  60.     + NIS
  61.     + NIS+
  62.     + DNS

  66.     If you've selected the NIS+ or DNS option in the Host Entry
  67.     Overrides field, use this field to specify the Masterhost domain

  73.     Overrides field, use this field to specify the DNS server providing

  78.     If you've selected the NIS option in the Host Entry Overrides field,
  79.     use this field to specify an alternate to the /etc/hosts file.

  83.     If you've selected the DNS option in the Host Entry Overrides field,
  84.     use this field to specify an alternate to the /etc/named.boot file.
  85.     This file is used by the BIND daemon to locate the DNS configuration
  86.     files at system start-up.

  88.     Mail Alias Overrides

  90.     You can use this toggle to set up the overrides for mail aliases.
  91.     Use this if you want to use an alternate aliases services rather
  92.     than those determined by Enlighten for your host/pool. You can use
  93.     overrides from the following types of naming services:

  96.     + /etc/aliases files
  97.     + NIS

  102.     If you've selected the NIS+ option in the Mail Aliases Overrides
  103.     field, use this field to specify the Masterhost's domain name.

  107.     If you've selected the NIS or NIS+ option in the Mail Aliases
  108.     Overrides field, use this field to specify the NIS server name
  109.     providing the aliases services.

  113.     If you've selected the NIS option in the Mail Aliases Overrides
  114.     field and you want to use a different set of aliases, use this field
  115.     to specify that alias file pathname.

  117.     Buttons

  119.     This window contains the following buttons:

  123.     After you've entered all the relevant information, click on the Add
  124.     button. Enlighten will create your specified overrides for the
  125.     designated host or pool.

  127.     Clear Fields
  128.  
  129.     Click on this button to clear the existing choices in all fields.

  131.     Cancel
  132.  
  133.     Click on this button to close the window without making any changes.
